1996 Fender Stevie Ray Vaughan Stratocaster with Pau Ferro Fretboard 1992-1999 – 3-Color Sunburst

barely used. It hasn’t dethroned my main Strat so I figure it should go to someone who will play it more than I have.

I have the original case candy and original pickguard in storage, but I will get it this weekend and include photos.

It’s a 1996, which is the same year as John Mayer’s SRV Strat, his original main guitar until about ‘03. It has the same sticker on the back of the headstock, which came on Fender products from that year.

I don’t know the story behind the engraving on the neck plate, it was on the guitar when I bought it. The back of the neck was very glossy, so I did the trick of slightly knocking the gloss off with a scotch brite pad. It improves the playability for me, but I understand why some might not enjoy it, so I’ve priced accordingly.
